Study on the Evidence-based Design and Practice of Fine Arts Unit Curriculum Evaluation
The traditional academic evaluation of fine arts curriculum focuses on the assessment on static knowledge and skills, while neglecting the recording and accurate description of students'learning process evaluation, thus it lacks of seriousness and comprehensiveness. The paper suggests that we should start from the evidence-based concept of academic evaluation in fine arts unit curriculum, designs the content, framework and principle for academic evaluation that match the unit curriculum, and conduct teaching practice from five stages:expected outcomes, design evidence, collection of evidence, analysis of evidence, and use of evidence. The evidence-base design should reflect the completion of core competencies in unit goals, and realize the consistency in the"teaching, learning and evaluation"of unit curriculum via accurate, continuous and all-round students'academic evaluation.
