Mitral regurgitation(MR)frequently coexists in patients with severe aortic stenosis(AS).Transcatheter aortic valve replacement has become the primary treatment method for severe AS,and transcatheter mitral valve replacement/repair is becoming increasingly mature for MR.The MR with severe AS have gradually attracted specific attention. The pathophysiological basis and the changes of MR after the release of AS and its impact on the prognosis are conducive to develop appropriate treatment strategies.
