Atrial fibrillation(AF)is a prevalent cardiac arrhythmia characterized by high morbidity and severe complications.To improve the prognosis and quality of life,a comprehensive investigation of its pathological mechanisms is imperative.Transcriptome sequencing technology,widely utilized in AF research,serves as a crucial tool.This paper reviews the molecular aspects of AF,including RNA sequencing,epigenetics,RNA splicing,and electrical remodeling.Additionally,it outlines the potential applications and impacts of transcriptome sequencing technology,while critically analyzing its strengths and limitations.This review aims to provide valuable insights and references for future research in this field.
