Sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to the infection.As the most severe complication of sepsis,the occurrence and development of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy are closely related to the myocardial mitochondrial function injury.This article explores the relationships between mitochondrial structure,mitochondrial quality control system,mitochondrial function changes and septic cardiomyopathy,aiming to provide new strategies for diagnosis and treatment of septic cardiomyopathy.
