Objective To investigate the clinical significance of serum Lipocalin-2,sFlt-1 and PLGF levels in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus complicated with preeclampsia. Methods 120 women with regular pregnancy check-up in Puyang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2021 to July 2022 were selected as study subjects. The subjects were divided into study group and control group according to the diagnosis of gestational diabetes mellitus.A single-center,prospective randomized controlled study was conducted to determine the levels of OGTT,Lipocalin-2,sFlt-1 and PLGF in the two groups.Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were performed on the data. Results There was significant difference in OGTT test results between the study group and the control group[(4.52±0.33)mmol/L vs.(3.01±0.34)mmol/L,P<0.05].There were statistically significant differences in the levels of Lipocalin-2,sFlt-1,and PLGF between the study group and the control group[(37.34±5.39)ng/mL vs.(28.09±4.99)ng/mL,(2 397.43±798.45)pg/mL vs.(1 402.55±723.01)pg/mL,(419.47±105.39)pg/mL vs.(599.43±113.45)pg/mL,P<0.05].Of the 60 patients in the study group,29 patients had complicated preeclampsia and 31 patients were without complicated preeclampsia.Pre-eclamptic patients had higher Lipocalin-2 and PLGF levels than non-preeclamptic patients, and sFlt-1 was lower than non-preeclamptic patients(P<0.05).Lipocalin-2 levels were positively correlated with gestational preeclampsia(r=0.62,P<0.001),sFlt-1 levels were positively correlated with the disease(r=0.45,P=0.012),and PLGF levels were negatively correlated with the disease(r=-0.28,P=0.078).Multiple regression analysis found that Lipocalin-2,sFlt-1,PLGF,and OGTT levels were the influencing factors in gestational diabetes and preeclampsia(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum Lipocalin-2,sFlt-1 and PLGF have certain clinical significance for early detection of gestational diabetes mellitus complicated with preeclampsia.
