The centenary journey of the Communist Party of China(CPC)'s fostering virtue through educa-tion has demonstrated a tendency of consistent evolution while maintaining stability.This trajectory is principally manifested in the evolution of the connotations concerning"what kind of talents to cultivate","what virtue to fos-ter"and"how to foster virtue through education"across four distinct historical periods of the CPC.Throughout its hundred-year history,CPC has consistently sought innovative changes within constancy.Its unwavering commit-ment is embodied in the effort to cultivate talents for both the CPC and the country,advocating for all-round tal-ent development.Additionally,it progressively supports the establishment of socialist morality,socialist core val-ues,and Marxist beliefs.Simultaneously,the CPC upholds the integration of education with productive labor and social practice,endorsing the comprehensive education system along with a collaborative guarantee mechanism bridging school,family,and society.By analyzing the principles underlying the continuity and change in CPC's fostering virtue through education,we can gain profound insights into its century-long developmental trajectory.These findings provide a historic reference point for accurately discerning the future direction of China's educa-tional development.
