In the era of artificial intelligence,teachers need to cultivate a series of key qualities based on im-portant characteristics that humans cannot be surpassed by artificial intelligence,and teacher'teaching imagina-tion is one of them.Teacher's teaching imagination is a kind of active intention and creative consciousness activity when they carry out teaching activities.Such awareness activities exist before,during and after teaching activi-ties,and it is the guarantee for the generation,development and innovaivity of teaching activities.However,there are some shortcomings in the current teacher's teaching imagination,mainly including:paranoid teaching experi-ence solidifies teachers'teaching imagination;the absence of teacher subjectivity leads to the decline of teachers'teaching imagination,and the dull sense of the importance constrains teachers'teaching imagination.Based on this,in order to deal with the challenges that artificial intelligence may pose to the teaching profession,teachers'teaching imagination needs to promote their better development through measures such as"returning to the start-ing point and facing up to the teacher's cherished experiences","increasing desires and enhancing teachers'sense of importance","innovating regulations and releasing teachers'dominant position",and"providing techno-logical support to expand the virtual power of teachers".
