Chemical quality differences in leaf tobacco of same variety grown in different ecological regions
This paper studied the changes of chemical components and aroma content of same variety but grown in different areas in order to provide reference for tobacco production and cigarette industry. The chemical components and neutral aroma content of C3F of variety K326 in three typical tobacco growing areas, namely Queshan of Henan Province (full flavor),Bijie of Guizhou Province (neutral flavor)and Pu'er of Yunnan Province (fresh flavor) were compared. Results showed that the same variety (K326) in three districts represented respectively full aroma, neutral aroma and fresh aroma.Yunnan fresh aroma-type leaves had the highest total sugar and reducing sugar content, sugar nicotine ratio, neophytadiene and aroma content, followed by Guizhou neutral aroma-type leaves and Henan full aromatype leaves.Content of neophytadiene in leaves of Henan Queshan was the highest, followed by that of Guizhou Bijie and Yunnan Pu'er.Content of damascone in leaves of Yunnan Pu'er was the highest, followed by Guizhou and Henan while content of solanone was the highest in leaves of Henan, followed by Guizhou and Yunnan. These two aroma substances played important roles in the formation of flavor style.
