Design and application of bag-opening and material-dropping device for boxed tobacco stem
To solve the problems of needing multiple operators,overlapping areas between people and vehicles,and the risk of debris in the hydraulic tipping feeding device,an automated feeding process and equipment for the unpacking operation of boxed tobacco stems were developed.By designing the key component of the bag-opening machine,the material-dropping device,the study researched a two-stage flipping mechanism with a primary flip frame and a secondary flip board,and verified its structural parameters.Modeling of the primary flip frame in Solidworks was conducted to calculate the moment of inertia for the selection of the swing cylinder.A static analysis was performed in Ansys Workbench,and the flipping process of the two-stage flipping mechanism was designed.Testing was conducted on the hydraulic tipping feeding device and the ZKSP1207 type bag-opening machine produced by Xuzhou Zhongkai Electromechanical Equipment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd.The results show that compared with the hydraulic tipping feeding device,the number of operators for the automated feeding equipment of the boxed tobacco stem unpacking operation was reduced from 4 to 1,the number of tom film bags decreased from 4.2 per batch to 0,and the feeding time per box was reduced from 4.13 min per box to 2.16 min per box,a reduction of 47.71%.Manual intervention and the risk of debris were significantly reduced,effectively supporting the implementation of automated feeding for boxed tobacco stems.
