Rapid Cigarette Packing Optimization for Commercial Logistics
[Background]Due to the variability in specifications of different cigarette brands and the diversity of order plans,the packing of cigarettes poses significant challenges for tobacco companies.[Methods]In this paper,the minimum number of packets,the stability of the package type,the regularity of the package type and the unpacking balance are selected as the target indicators of the packaging scheme.A three-dimensional packaging model is constructed,and the optimal packaging scheme is determined by means of six heuristic algorithms including improved honey badger algorithm so as to meet the efficient packaging needs of enterprises.[Results](1)The three-dimensional packaging model constructed in this paper is very suitable for solving the complex packaging problem of tobacco factory;(2)The optimization effect of the Improved Honey Badger Algorithm(IHBA)is remarkable.Compared to the Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO),its performance in terms of optimal value,worst value,average value,and average iteration times improved by 45%,7%,36.7%,and 52.1%,respectively.[Conclusion]The optimal packing system constructed in this study can stably and quickly output the best packing scheme.The specifications and quantities of cigarettes can be adjusted flexibly according to orders,demonstrating strong adaptability and portability.
