南非铜尾矿球团氢基直接还原性能及优化配矿技术

为解决氢基竖炉还原用高品位铁矿粉成本高、供应不稳定的问题,河钢集团以自有南非铜尾矿作为氢基竖炉炉料结构开展研究,并在此基础上开展5 000 t铜尾矿工业应用试验.以特诺恩希尔(HYL)公司推荐的铁矿石使用要求为依据,实验室研究确定100%铜尾矿球团氢基还原的适合参数,并在模拟实际工况条件下给出铜尾矿适宜的配矿比例.当铜尾矿与高品矿配合使用且配比不超过60%时,球团氢基直接还原性能指标(还原性指数、还原膨胀率、还原黏结指数、低温还原粉化指数)满足氢基竖炉还原使用要求.为了保证竖炉平稳运行,采用"40%铜尾矿+60%高品矿"的配矿结构进行工业试验,结果显示,试验期比基准期(100%高品矿)直接还原铁(DRI)的金属化率提高0.97个百分点,达到95.45%,满足电炉冶炼要求.研究结果为优化氢基竖炉还原炉料结构提供了支撑.
Hydrogen based direct reduction performance and optimized ore blending technology of South African copper tailings pellets
In order to solve the problems of high cost and unstable supply of high-quality iron powder for hydrogen based shaft furnace reduction,HBIS conducted experimental research using its own South African copper tailings as the structure of hydrogen based shaft furnace material,and basis on this,the industrial application test of 5 000 t copper tailings was carried out.Based on the requirements for the use of iron ore recommended by HYL,laboratory research determined the suitable parameters for 100%copper tailings pellets hydrogen based reduction,and provided a suitable ratio for copper tailings used in conjunction with high-quality ore powder under simulated actual operating conditions.When the ratio of copper tailings does not exceed 60%,the hydrogen based direct reduction performance indicators of the pellets(including reducibility,reduction expansion,reduction adhesion,and low-temperature re-duction pulverization)all meet the requirements for hydrogen based shaft furnace reduction.To ensure the smooth operation of the shaft furnace,an industrial experiment was conducted using a 40%copper tailings and 60%high-quality iron ore blending structure.The results show that the metallization rate during the experimental period(40%copper tailings DRI)increases by 0.97 percentage points compared to the benchmark period(100%high-qual-ity iron ore DRI),reaching 95.45%,which satisfies the requirements of electric furnace smelting.The research re-sults provide support for optimizing the structure of hydrogen based shaft furnace reduction burden.
