Research and application of advanced process control for oxygen-enriched roasting furnace temperature
The key to the efficient,safe and stable running of oxygen-enriched roasting furnace in the zinc smelting is to control the roasting furnace temperature effectively.The temperature control of the roasting furnace is affected by multiple variables.There are problems such as difficulty to switch to automatic mode for control loop,large fluctua-tion in roasting furnace temperature,and high labor intensity in operation.Manipulated variables,disturbance varia-bles,controlled variables and limiting variables were identified based on process flow analysis.Using the historical operating data of the device as data set,a model predictive controller was constructed through the subspace identifi-cation algorithm and the accuracy of model was verified,therefore,an advanced temperature control system for the roasting furnace was established.Taking oxygen-enriched roasting furnace with the bed area of 109 m2 and bed treatment capacity of 7.8 t/(m2·d)as the research object,comparing the data before and after the system was put into operation,it was found that the fluctuation of roasting furnace temperature decreased significantly,and the standard deviation of furnace temperature decreased by 36.64%.The furnace temperature had achieved bounder control,reducing range from±25 ℃ to±10 ℃.The system utilization rate was 98.69%,showing strong system availability,and the frequency of operator operations had been reduced by 98.35%,greatly reducing the labor inten-sity.The system had stronger anti-interference ability,and the unit capacity had increased by 0.22%.At the same time,economic analysis showed that the system could increase by 1.909 8X 106 yuan/a.The research shows that the advanced process control system for the furnace temperature of oxygen-enriched roasting furnace in the zinc smelting improves the automation level and operation efficiency of roasting furnace,reduces the labor intensity,a-chieves the purpose of tapping potential and increasing efficiency.It also provides theoretical support and practical significance for the industrial application and promotion of advanced process control technology in the temperature control of oxygen-enriched roasting furnace.
