Efficacy analysis of facial rejuvenation treatment with botulinum toxin type A combined with microneedling-induced platelet-rich plasma
Objective To explore the effect of Botulinum Toxin Type A combined with microneedling-induced Platelet-Rich Plasma(PRP)in facial rejuvenation treatment.Methods Sixty patients who underwent facial rejuvenation treatment at our hospital from January to December 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to the treatment methods:the observation group(treatment with Botulinum Toxin Type A combined with microneedling-induced PRP)and the control group(treatment with microneedling-induced PRP),with 30 cases in each group.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared.Results The effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that in the control group,and the satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group,with significant differences between the groups(x2=4.043,4.320,5.455,all P＜0.05).The scores for skin moisture and elasticity in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,while the scores for skin oiliness and skin spots were lower than those in the control group,with significant differences between the groups(t=4.326,5.747,6.926,4.032,all P＜0.05).Conclusion The combined use of Botulinum Toxin Type A and microneedling-induced PRP provides good efficacy and safety in facial rejuvenation treatment for patients and is worth applying.
