Application of micro-thoracic drainage tube in thoracoscopic wedge resection of lung:A single center, prospective, randomized controlled study
Objective To investigate the effect of micro-tube drainage in thoracoscopic wedge lung resection.Method This prospective, randomized clinical trial was performed in the First Department of Thoracic Surgery,Beijing Chest Hospital Affiliated Capital Medical University from December 2020 to December 2021.We prospectively enrolled 100 patients who underwent thoracoscopic wedge resection.Patients were randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio, with 50 patients in each group. One 8Fr thoracic drainage tube was replaced in the experimental group and one 26Fr thoracic drainage tube was replaced in the control group. The average daily drainage of effusion, postoperative pain, duration of chest tube placement, lung dilation degree and complication were compared between the two groups.Result(1)VAS scores in the first and second days after surgery showed a downward trend, and VAS scores in the observation group were significantly smaller than those in the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05);(2)There were no significant differences in the average daily drainage volume, duration of chest tube placement, lung dilation, postoperative hospital stay and postoperative complication rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of micro-chest tube drainage in thoracoscopic wedge pulmonary resection does not affect the postoperative recovery of patients, reduces the postoperative pain of patients, and accelerates the postoperative recovery of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
