Clinical value of small incision flipping flap method at the axillary folds in the treatment of axillary bromhidrosis
Objective To study the clinical application value of Small incision flipping flap method at The axillary folds for the treatment of axillary bromhidrosis.Method A retrospective analysis was conducted on 398 patients with axillary bromhidrosis who underwent plastic surgery at Wuhan Central Hospital from June 2019 to June 2023.They were divided into two groups according to different surgical methods. The observation group(using small incision flipping flap method at the axillary folds)had 213 cases, and the control group(using negative pressure suction method)had 185 cases. The treatment effects of different methods were analyzed.Result The effective rate of the observation group was 208/213(97.65%),which was higher than that of the control group 170/185(91.89%,P<0.05).The incidence rate of complications in the observation group was 28/213(13.15%),similar to that of control group of 17/185(9.19%,P>0.05).The total satisfaction with treatment in the observation group was 208/213(97.65%),which was higher than that in the control group 165/185(89.19%,P<0.05).Conclusion The small incision flipping flap method at The axillary folds is recommended for the treatment of axillary bromhidrosis, which can improve the treatment effect and has high safety.
