The effect of Lucas cardiopulmonary resuscitation device assisted external chest compression on the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the curative effect in clinical emergency work
Objective To investigate the effect of Lucas cardiopulmonary resuscitation device assisted external chest compression on the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the curative effect in patients with cardiac arrest(CA).Method 106 patients with CA who were admitted to Chengdu Third People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into two groups according to different admission times.52 patients with CA who were admitted from January to November 2021 were taken as the control group.54 patients with CA who were admitted from December 2021 to December 2022 were taken as the observation group. The control group was given routine cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and the observation group was given Lucas cardiopulmonary resuscitation device assisted external chest compression.Quality parameters of cardiopulmonary resuscitation(percentage of effective compressions, frequency of compressions, depth of compressions, correct release rate of compressions, number of interrupts)and curative effects(ROSC rate, success rate of resuscitation,24 h survival rate, spontaneous heartbeat recovery time, respiratory recovery time)between the two groups were compared and analyzed.Result There were no significant differences in the percentage of effective compressions and frequency of compressions between the two groups(P>0.05).The depth of compressions and correct release rate of compressions in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the number of interruptions was less than that in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in ROSC rate, success rate of resuscitation and 24 h survival rate between two groups(P>0.05).The spontaneous heartbeat recovery time and respiratory recovery time in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of Lucas cardiopulmonary resuscitation device assisted external chest compression in clinical emergency work has better depth of compressions, higher correct compression release rate, less number of interruptions, and can significantly shorten the spontaneous heartbeat recovery time and respiratory recovery time of CA patients.
