Effects of psychological nursing combined with sensory integration training on mental status and living ability of patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction
Objective To analyze the effects of psychological nursing combined with sensory integration training on mental status and living ability of patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction.Method A total of 120 patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction admitted to Beijing Tiantan Hospital,Capital Medical University from January 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the study subjects.According to different nursing programs, the study subjects were divided into control group(receiving routine nursing intervention)and observation group(receiving psychological nursing combined sensory integration training on the basis of the control group),with 60 cases in each group. Two groups were treated continuously for four weeks. The mental status[Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA)score,Hamilton depression scale(HAMD)score,conner-davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)score],neurological function[National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score]and living ability[activity of daily living(ADL)score]in the two groups were compared and analyzed before and after treatment. The cerebral hemodynamic indexes[pulsation index(PI),resistance index(RI),maxmium systolic blood flow velocity(Vm)]and muscle strength grade in the two groups were compared and analyzed before and after treatment.Result Before treatment, there were no statistical significance in HAMA score,HAMD score,CD-RISC score,NIHSS score,ADL score,RI,PI,Vm and muscle strength grade between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,HAMA score,HAMD score,NIHSS score,RI and PI in two groups were decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,The CD-RISC score,ADL score,Vm and muscle strength grade in two groups were increased, and the observation group was higher or better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological nursing combined with sensory integration training can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with hemiplegia after cerebral infarction, and improve the level of mental resilience and life ability of patients, and promote the recovery of damaged nerve function of patients, and increase the blood flow of patients with ischemic sites, and enhance the muscle strength of patients.
