Nursing effect of supportive psychology intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in patients undergoing tension-free sling middle urethral suspension
Objective To explore the nursing effect of supportive psychology intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in patients undergoing tension-free sling middle urethral suspension.Method 136 patients with stress urinary incontinence who underwent tension-free sling middle urethral suspension in West China Hospital,Sichuan University from January 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the study objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 68 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training in perioperative period on the basis of the control group. The psychological resilience level(CD-RISC score),self-knowledge and self-efficacy(ITAQ score,GSES score),urinary incontinence symptoms and quality of life(UDI-6 score,IIQ-7 score,ICIQ-SF score)in the two groups before and after nursing intervention were compared and analyzed. The clinical efficacy and postoperative complications in the two groups were compared and analyzed.Result Before nursing intervention, there were no significant differences in CD-RISC scores of optimism,self-reliance and tenacity,ITAQ scores,GSES scores,IIQ-7 scores,UDI-6 scores and ICIQ-SF scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After three months of nursing intervention,CD-RISC scores of optimism,self-reliance,tenacity,ITAQ scores,GSES scores in two groups were increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After three months of nursing intervention,IQ-7 scores,UDI-6 scores and ICIQ-SF scores in two groups were decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After three months of nursing intervention, the total clinical effective rate of observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the total incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Supportive psychological intervention and progressive muscle relaxation training can effectively enhance the psychological resilience of patients undergoing tension-free sling middle urethral suspension, and improve self-knowledge and treatment compliance,self-efficacy,quality of life and clinical efficacy, and reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications.
