Analysis of nutritional status and significance of changes in 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 levels in children with Henoch-Sch?nlein purpura
Objective To investigate the relationship between different nutritional status and serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3[25-(OH)D3]level and children's Henoch-Schönlein purpura(HSP).Method A total of 119 children with HSP diagnosed in Beijing Children's Hospital,Capital Medical University from September 2019 to February 2020 were selected as the observation group, and further divided into normal nutrition group(67 cases)and malnutrition group(52 cases)according to their nutritional status.Meanwhile,90 children who underwent physical examination in the outpatient department of Beijing Children's Hospital,Capital Medical University were selected as the control group. The 25-(OH)D3 levels of children in observation group and control group, normal nutrition group and malnourished group were compared and analyzed.Result The level of 25-(OH)D3 in control group was significantly higher than that in observation group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The level of 25-(OH)D3 in malnutrition group was lower than that in normal nutrition group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The levels of 25-(OH)D3 in children with HSP were significantly lower than those in the healthy children group;the levels of 25-(OH)D3 in the HSP combined with malnutrition group were significantly lower than those in the HSP group with normal nutritional status.
