In exploring the ways of innovative landscape design,it is necessary to combine landscape design and research,and highlight bilateral processes both from practice to theory and from theory to practice.This paper,using normative thinking,explores the specific approaches and practice procedures of the two main methodologies of landscape criticism and evidencebased design with emphasis on demonstrating design and users' demands correspondingly.
