Gender factors are often of great significance to the creation of space.As an important user of private gardens,history ancient Chinese women was strongly connected with private gardens.By analyzing the women's psychology and behavior in ancient private gardens,this article explores the social gender implications of space.It interprets the logic of space design from functional expression and femininity,which results in indiscrimination gender perspective of the design of garden space.
