Effects of Different Green Coverage in Block Scale on PM10 and PM2.5 Removal——A Case Study of the Main City of Wuhan
Under the overall particulate air pollution in city, there are significant differences in the concentration of particulate air pollution in urban blocks, and green infrastructure is an important factor.Based on PM10 and PM2.5 data derived from 8 national controlling points and 2 self-controlling points in Wuhan, and green coverage of different blocks interpreted by remotely sensed imagery, the paper explores the deep quantitative rules of them. Results show that in the urban block, green coverage and PM10/PM2.5 concentrations were negatively correlated, and PM10/PM2.5 concentrations can be reduced by 13.83% and 7.58% when green coverage is increased by 10%.When the green coverage is increased in the block,it can significantly reduce PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in the range of 500~600m.
