Research on the Conservation and Regeneration of Panxi Restaurant from a Landscape Anthropology Perspective
Based on the concept and methodology of landscape anthropology to guide the conservation and regeneration of the historic environment of Panxi Restaurant, the theory of spatial production and place construction is combined with anthropological fieldwork, structured interviews, and big data analysis to study the"space"and"place"of Panxi Restaurant and the Xiguan historic environment in which it is located. This study is based on the theories of"space"and"place"and the"multi-phase"symbiosis between the two.On this basis, the study is combined with the conservation and regeneration practice of Panxi Restaurant, expanding the scope of the study from the perspective of"space"and"place",linking symbols, exploring the daily life practices and social relations of residents, and producing and constructing landscapes with local characteristics and in line with the emotional memory of residents. Finally, the study explores the unity and coexistence of internal and external landscapes through the theory of"multi-phase",providing a new perspective and methodological reference for the renewal of historical environmental protection in China's urban and rural development.
