Villagers'and Tourists'Perception of the Soundscape of She Ethnic Minority Villages from the Perspective of Placeness
Soundscape plays an important role in local shaping and is a key factor affecting tourism attraction in minority areas. In the process of tourism development, villagers and tourists are the main perceivers of local soundscape as the role of host and guest.Taking three She ethnic minority villages,Dajun Village,Jinqiu Village and Dongnong Village in Jingning County,Lishui,Zhejiang,as the research objects, eighteen kinds of local sound sources were identified and villagers'and tourists'perception of sound source and soundscape were analyzed. The results show that the natural sound,as the local sound source, plays a dominant role in the villagers'and tourists'perception, which is determined by the ecological environment of the village near the mountain and the river.Although the local sound source related to She culture is strongly perceived by villagers, the perception of tourists is weak, which is the main manifestation of the perception difference between villagers and tourists. And this kind of sound source perception has the strongest correlation with soundscape perception.Based on the similarities and differences of soundscape perception of villagers and tourists, building soundscape optimization strategies aiming at the sound of birds singing and water in the local natural sound and She folk song,She language and Huiming tea in artificial sound. Finally,it is proposed that the development of villages with ethnic minority characteristics relying on tourism should combine the local sound sources to organize tour routes at the planning level, emphasizing the She folk songs,She language and Huiming tea in the natural sound and the artificial sound,so as to enhance the perception of villagers and tourists to the She minority characteristic soundscape. At the design level, priority should be given to protecting the local sound source related to labor folklore,so that it can be closely combined with the activity place, highlight the cultural connotation of the local soundscape, and enhance the villagers'awareness of independent protection and tourists'perception of placeness.
