Ecological-Cultural Composite Corridor Network Pattern Research Based on Integrated Resources:A Case Study of Chengdu-Chongqing Area
Constructing an ecological-cultural composite corridor network from the perspective of multiple resource integration can help to effectively identify the basic pattern and key contradictions of regional coordinated development.Based on the MCR model, the study quantifies the difficulty of preventing the migration and expansion of species, and evaluates the ecological risks and extracts the important ecological corridors in the area based on the circuit theory;according to the historical documents of each period and the list of national cultural heritage units, the study identifies the important cultural corridors through the identification of the points and routes, and the analysis of the main trunks and densities, and with corridor stacking and the analysis of the corridor densities, the network pattern of ecological and cultural composite corridors as well as the spatial distribution of two-factor corridor density levels are formed, which clarifies the overall characteristics of ecological and cultural resources in the area as well as the development potentials, providing the basis for promoting the integration, mobility, and efficient utilization of the resources in the area, and for supporting the comprehensive conservation of the ecological and cultural assets as well as the integrated sustainable development.
