Study on the Construction of the Linear Heritage System and Typology of Beijing Great Wall Cultural Belt
In the context of the construction of the Great Wall National Cultural Park and Beijing Great Wall Cultural Belt,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to conduct research on the linear heritage system of the Great Wall of Beijing. As a unique linear heritage, the Great Wall is inaccessible due to the surrounding dangerously steep environment. The current planning of the Great Wall Scenic Byway is mainly based on qualitative research and judgment, and there is an urgent need to explore data-driven computational methods to integrate the numerous and diverse data resources along the Great Wall to form a quantitative and comprehensive method of constructing a linear heritage system.Taking the Great Wall Cultural Belt of Beijing as the research scope, the spatial analysis technology of ArcGIS is utilized to construct the linear cultural heritage system of the Great Wall by adopting the Minimum Cumulative Resistance(MCR)and the Multiple Centrality Analysis(MCA)and carry out measurement and grading, and reveal its spatial structure and type characteristics with the help of the kernel density estimation method and the analysis of typical cases,so as to construct the linear heritage system of the Great Wall Cultural Belt of Beijing.By demonstrating the method of constructing and grading linear heritage system based on spatial data mining technology, the conceptual extension and research type of linear heritage system in China are expanded,so that the spatial hierarchy and functional features of linear heritage can be finely delineated, which is of reference value for the planning of scenic routes system, the configuration of tourism service facilities, the delineation of route themes and the planning of display and utilization.
