The Potential and Path of Artificial Intelligence to Promote the Disciplinary and Professional Development of Landscape Architecture in China
The development of artificial intelligence(AI)has swept the world,and it has become an important boost for the development of many aspects of society and economy in China.However,in the field of landscape architecture,there has been no discussion on the structural changes that AI may bring to the disciplinary and professional knowledge and practice of landscape architecture from an overall perspective.Based on the systematic literature review,this paper identifies the development trends of AI in the field of landscape architecture.It also discusses how AI improves and expands the specific areas of landscape architecture discipline and profession,and further proposes four transformation directions that are conducive to the overall development of landscape architecture based on the development and application of AI,namely,from experience-driven to data and evidence-based,promoting the lifecycle practice loop,accelerating the integration and construction of platform ecology,and pushing forward professional education and continuous professional development reform as soon as possible,and discusses the realization paths of each direction.It sheds light on the breakthrough development of China's landscape architecture discipline and profession with the help of AI.
