The Ecological Wisdom of the Human Settlement Environment of Luoyang Ancient Capital Adapting to Natural Landscape Pattern
The construction of the human settlement environment in ancient Luoyang's capital city embodies rich construction wisdom,which is of great significance and reference value for the construction of contemporary urban human settlement environments.Through the excavation of historical urban literature images,analysis of archaeological materials,comprehensive investigation of cultural heritage status and spatial form,this study explored and constructed a basic information database covering the human settlement wisdom of five ancient capitals in Luoyang.From human settlement space(having a home and a garden,and called homestead),human settlement order(axis guidance,and respect for seniority),human settlement landscape(making full use of land,and complying with nature),human settlement philosophy(modeling heaven and earth,and harmony between human and nature),it systematically extracted the original human settlement wisdom of the capital city by combining the natural landscape,central axis,landscape sight,human order,landscape system,and philosophical thought of the ancient capital.Using the theory of human settlement environment science and human needs theory,it systematically revealed the concepts,methods,and technical means of ancient capital city human settlement wisdom in adapting to natural landscape environment,enhancing the resilience of human settlement space,improving the ability of supporting system,adapting to humanistic characteristics,and providing historical wisdom and scientific basis for exploring the planning practice of human settlement space adapting to natural landscape pattern.
