Therapeutic effect of platelet-rich fibrin on chronic refractory wounds
Objective To analyze the efficacy of platelet-rich fibrin(PRF)in the treatment of chronic refractory wounds. Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,150 patients with chronic refractory wounds in Sanmenxia Central Hospital of Henan Province were selected and divided into control group(75 cases, routine treatment)and observation group(75 cases, routine treatment + platelet-rich fibrin).Clinical correlation indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After 14 days of treatment, the wound healing rate of the observation group was higher, the wound preparation time was shorter, and the dressing times of the observation group were less(compared with the two groups). Before treatment and after 7 and 14 days of treatment, pain scores were lower in both groups, and lower in the observation group(compared with 7 and 14 days of treatment between the two groups).Serum VEGF levels and FMD values were increased in the two groups(after 14 days of treatment compared with before treatment),and the observation group was at a higher level(comparison between groups).Wound quantization score, peripheral blood WBC,ESR and serum CRP levels were all decreased in both groups(compared with before treatment after 14 days),and the observation group was at a lower level(compared between groups),P<0.05.Conclusion PRF in the treatment of chronic refractory wounds can help to promote wound healing, reduce dressing changes, relieve pain, reduce inflammatory factor index content, increase the level of wound related growth factor, and thus improve clinical treatment effect.
