The Effect of Focused Solution Nursing Model on Posttraumatic Growth and Self perceived Burden of Facial Burn Patients
Objective To explore the effect of the focused solution nursing model on the growth and self perceived burden of patients with facial burns.Method 75 patients with facial burns admitted to Jiaozuo People's Hospital from January 2019 to June 2021 were randomly divided into groups using a coin toss method. The control group with 37 cases was received routine nursing care. The observation group with 38 cases was underwent psychological intervention using the focused solution model on the basis of routine care. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)was used to investigate the negative situation. The Chinese version of the Posttraumatic Growth Rating Scale(C-PTGI)was used to evaluate post-traumatic growth, and the Self Perceived Burden Scale(SPBS)was used to evaluate the self perceived burden.Result The difference in wound healing time, scar hyperplasia, and pigmentation between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower anxiety scores, depression scores, and total scale scores after intervention, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The observation group had higher scores for post-traumatic growth, such as interpersonal relationships, personal abilities, and mental changes after intervention, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The SPBS score of the observation group after intervention was lower, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The focused solution model can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of facial burn patients, reduce their self perception burden, and promote post-traumatic growth.
