Application and development of artificial materials in rhinoplasty
With the development of plastic surgery and people's increasing requirements for the appearance of nasal morphology,nasal volume expansion surgery has become the first way of rhinoplasty surgery in China,so different kinds of filling materials emerged.However,complications in the donor area enhenced the wide application of artificial materials in rhinoplasty.Up to now,no artificial material can entirely replace autologous tissues.With the further research and application of artificial materials,it is now more inclined to use autologous tissue combined with artificial materials for rhinoplasty surgery.Autologous tissues makes result more natural and more safe,and artificial materials covers the shortage of autologous tissues.This paper summarizes the current application of artificial materials in rhinoplasty to provide a reference for the selection of implants.
