Nasal tip reconstruction using autologous rib cartilage transplantation to construct a nasal tip stent complex
Objective To investigate the effect of autologous rib cartilage transplantation on the healing of nasal wounds and the shape of the nasal tip in patients with nasal hypertrophy.Methods Thirty patients with nasal tip hypertrophy admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects.All cases were treated with autologous rib cartilage transplantation to construct a nasal tip stent composite rhinoplasty.Analyze postoperative related indicators,compare the shape of the nasal tip before and after surgery,and analyze the occurrence of complications.The surgical time for the patient was(62.97±4.92)minutes,and the wound healing time was(8.34±1.28)days.After surgery,the length and height of the nose tip were greater than before,and the distance between the two tips of the nose was smaller than before surgery(P<0.05).One swelling and one infection occurred in 30 patients,with an incidence rate of 6.67%(2/30).Conclusion:Autologous rib cartilage transplantation can effectively treat nasal tip hypertrophy and achieve ideal nasal tip shape.The prognosis is good,safe and reliable,and it is worth promoting and applying.
