Observation on the effect of minimally invasive ultra-thin ceramic veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior tooth gaps
Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive ultra-thin ceramic veneer in aesthetic restoration of anterior tooth gaps. Methods A study was conducted on 86 patients with anterior interdental space treated between November 2021 and January 2023,and they were grouped according to different treatment methods,a control group(conventional all ceramic veneer repair)and an observation group(minimally invasive ultra-thin ceramic veneer repair),with 43 cases in each group. The repair effects of the two groups were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the repair effect of the observation group was significantly better(P<0.05);At one week after repair, there was no significant difference in FDI scores between the two groups(P>0.05).At 12 months after repair, the aesthetic performance and biological index scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);Compared with the control group, the observation group had fewer complications(P<0.05).Conclusion The minimally invasive ultra-thin ceramic veneer has a better restoration effect in the aesthetic restoration of anterior tooth gaps, with better aesthetic performance and biological index scores than conventional all ceramic veneers. It can also reduce the occurrence of complications and is worthy of promotion and application.
