Progress in the formation mechanism and prevention of vascular embolism caused by hyaluronic acid facial filling
At present,with the increasing application of hyaluronic acid in cosmetic surgery,hyaluronic acid filling has become a mainstream treatment item in medical cosmetology.Subsequently,the number of related complications gradually increased and could not be underestimated,among which the vascular embolism caused by hyaluronic acid was the most serious.If the treatment is not timely,it can cause sequelae such as ischemic necrosis,blindness,hemiplegia and even endanger life.At present,there is no definite conclusion on the mechanism of embolization,and systematic and perfect prevention and treatment measures still need to be further studied.In this paper,the formation mechanism of vascular embolism and the current prevention and treatment measures are reviewed.
