Application of non-invasive bipolar radiofrequency technology in lower facial aging
Objective To explore the clinical effects of non-invasive bipolar radiofrequency technology in skin relaxation and fat accumulation in the lower face and mandibular margin. Methods From May 2021 to August 2022,60 patients with skin relaxation and fat accumulation at the lower face and mandibular margin underwent non-invasive RF treatment in the Medical cosmetics Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University were observed to evaluate the degree of pain and post-treatment complications during treatment. At 3 months after the end of treatment, the improvement of facial skin relaxation and fat accumulation was assessed. Results The pain scores of most patients were between 1-3 points during treatment. In the course of treatment,8 patients had mild ecchymosis under the skin, without scald, nerve injury or scar formation.Three months after treatment, two senior doctors in the non-treatment group performed facial relaxation scale scores before treatment and three months after treatment. The average score of lower facial relaxation decreased from 4(4,5)points before treatment to 3(2,3)points three months after treatment(P<0.01),and the average score of neck relaxation decreased from 5(4,5)points before treatment.5)The score decreased to 4(3,4)three months after treatment(P<0.01).The score of lower face and neck relaxation was statistically different before and after treatment. Conclusion Non-invasive radiofrequency technology can not only achieve good therapeutic effect for patients with skin relaxation and fat accumulation at the lower face and mandibular margin, but also has the advantages of no trauma,no delay and high patient satisfaction, which has a good clinical application effect.
