Analysis of clinical efficacy of E-light combined with Q-switched laser therapy for freckles
Objective To analyze the clinical efficacy of E-light combined with Q-switched laser in the treatment of freckles. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 102 patients with freckles admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to December 2023.According to different treatment plans, they were divided into three groups:a combination group of 31 cases,an E-light group of 35 cases, and a Q-switched group of 36 cases. The combination group received E-light combined with Q-switched laser treatment, the E-light group received E-light treatment alone, and the Q-switched group received Q-switched laser treatment alone.Clinical data of the three groups of patients were analyzed. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the combination group was higher than that in the E-light group and Q-adjustment group(χ2=7.087,P=0.029);After treatment, the IEWL and stratum corneum water content indicators in the three groups were statistically significant(P<0.05),while the IEWL and stratum corneum water content indicators in the combination group and E-light group were not statistically significant(P>0.05);After treatment, the IEWL index in the combination group and E-light group was lower than that in the Q-control group, and the stratum corneum water content was higher than that in the Q-control group(P<0.05);The total incidence of adverse reactions in the combination group,E-group,and Q-group was not statistically significant(χ2=3.740,P=0.154);The total satisfaction of the joint group,E-light group, and Q-adjustment group was statistically significant(χ2=7.969,P=0.019);Conclusion The combination of E-light and Q-switched laser treatment for freckles has advantages in improving treatment efficacy, improving skin barrier function, and increasing skin moisture content, while maintaining a similar level of safety as individual treatment, and can improve overall patient satisfaction.
