The Impact of 3D Printing Technology on the Tissue Aesthetic Effect and Restoration Accuracy of Temporary Crowns Used for Immediate Implantation of Upper Tooth Defects
Objective To investigate the tissue aesthetic effects and the impact of 3D printing technology on the accuracy of temporary crowns used for immediate implantation of upper tooth defects.Method A total of 51 patients with immediate implantation of upper teeth defects between December 2020 and December 2023 were selected as the researchers, all of whom were treated with temporary crowns made using 3D printing technology. The tissue aesthetic effects and repair accuracy after the repair treatment were analyzed. Results After 1 month and 3 months of treatment, the tissue aesthetic effect scores of the PES scale in 5 different dimensions were higher than before treatment, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);The deviation values of neck distance, apical distance, depth distance, and angle were lower than before treatment at 1 month and 3 months after treatment, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);After 1 month and 3 months of treatment, the evaluation scores of the four different dimensions of WHO Quality of Life were higher than before treatment, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of 3D printing technology to produce temporary crowns for immediate implantation of upper tooth defects can improve repair accuracy, improve tissue aesthetic effects, and improve quality of life, which is worth promoting.
