The Impact of Nursing Intervention Based on PANDA Model on the Degree of Skin Iesions and Aesthetic Effects in Patients with Head and Neck Tumor Radiotherapy
Objective Exploring the impact of PANDA based nursing interventions on the degree of skin lesions and aesthetic effects in patients with head and neck tumor radiotherapy.Methods Conveniently select 126 patients with head and neck tumors who received radiation therapy in Nanyang Central Hospital from September 2021 to December 2023 as the research subjects,and randomly divide them into an observation group and a control group,with 63 cases in each group.The control group received routine radiation care,while the observation group received care based on the PANDA model;Compare the grading of radiation-induced skin lesions,scores on the radiation-induced dermatitis response assessment scale,healing time of skin lesions,and aesthetic effects between two groups of patients.Results After corresponding nursing interventions,the grading of radiation skin lesions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(Z=3.768,P=0.003).The observation group had significantly lower scores on the radiation dermatitis response assessment scale at each stage of radiotherapy compared to the control group.The healing time of skin lesions was significantly shorter than that of the control group,and the percentage of wound healing was significantly higher than that of the control group.The differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The aesthetic scores of permanent erythema,pigmentation,skin color fusion,and scar formation in the observation group were better than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The nursing intervention based on PANDA model can significantly reduce the degree of skin damage and radiation dermatitis reaction in patients with head and neck tumor radiotherapy,promote skin wound healing,and improve the aesthetic effect of the wound,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application..
