Clinical efficacy of ultra-pulsed fractional CO2 laser combined with fusidic acid cream in the treatment of hypertrophic scar after burn
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of ultra-pulsed fractional CO2 laser combined with fusidic acid cream in the treatment of hypertrophic scar after burn. Methods Ninety-eight patients with hypertrophic scars admitted to Luoyang Central Hospital affiliated to Zhengzhou University from April 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group according to different treatment methods, with 49 cases in each group. The control group patients were treated with superpulse CO2 fractional laser; The patients in the observation group were treated with CO2 dot matrix laser and the patients in the control group were smeared with silicon gel.Two groups of patients were observed for 24 weeks.Compare the visual analogue scales(VAS)scores for pain, clinical efficacy, and post burn hypertrophic scar related indicators between two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The total effective rate of the observation group patients was 93.88%,which was higher than the control group's 75.51%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Vancouver Scar Scale,Observer Scar Assessment Scale, and Patient Scar Assessment Scale scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The clinical efficacy of Ultra-pulsed Fractional CO2 laser combined with fusidic acid cream in the treatment of hypertrophic scar after burn is evident, can relieve the pain of patients, and improve the symptoms related to hypertrophic scar after burns.
