Analysis of the effectiveness and safety of Jiedu Sanjie Tang combined with fire acupuncture in the treatment of nodular cystic acne with phlegm stasis syndrome
Objective To observe the effectiveness and safety of Jiedu Sanjie Tang combined with fire acupuncture in the treatment of nodular cystic acne with phlegm stasis syndrome.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 80 patients with nodular cystic acne and phlegm stasis syndrome who received treatment at Taizhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to October 2023.They were divided into two groups of 40 patients each according to different treatment methods.The control group was given isotretinoin capsules orally,while the observation group was treated with Jiedu Sanjie Tang combined with fire acupuncture.Compare the clinical efficacy,inflammatory lesion score,skin oil content,recurrence rate,and adverse reactions between the two groups after 8 weeks of continuous treatment.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment,the inflammatory lesion score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The incidence of adverse reactions was comparable between the two groups,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions The combination of Jiedu Sanjie Tang decoction and fire needle therapy has a high clinical efficacy in treating nodular cystic acne,which can improve the skin oil content of patients,accelerate the regression of inflammatory lesions,reduce the recurrence rate,and is safe and feasible.
