Evaluation of the clinical application effect of one-needle small incision double eyelid surgery
Objective To explore the clinical application effect of one-needle small incision double eyelid surgery.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 60 cases(120 eyes)who underwent double eyelid surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical University from January 2023 to January 2024.Among them,30 cases underwent one-needle small incision double eyelid surgery,and 30 cases underwent total eyelid surgery.Compare the surgical time,surgical satisfaction,and complications between two groups of patients.Results The surgical time of the observation group patients was(22.07±2.92)minutes,which was lower than that of the control group(63.40±5.90)minutes,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Patients in the observation group were very satisfied with 90.0%(27/30),satisfied with 6.7%(2/30),and dissatisfied with 3.3%(1/30).The control group patients were very satisfied with 93.3%(28/30)and satisfied with 6.7%(2/30).There was no statistically significant difference in satisfaction between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was 10.0%(3/30),which was lower than the control group's 20.0%(6/30),but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions One-needle small incision double eyelid surgery has the advantages of short operation time,minimal trauma,unclear scars,high satisfaction,and is suitable for beginners.It is worth promoting in clinical practice.
