Objective To explore the clinical experience of 80 cases of double layered orbicularis muscle flap eye bag resection. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 80 patients who underwent double layered orbicularis muscle flap eye bag resection surgery at Zibo Yimei Plastic and Aesthetic Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023.Analyze surgical outcomes, improvement of tear troughs, quality of life, postoperative silkworm formation, and complications. Results After surgical treatment,48 out of 80 patients showed significant improvement,30 showed improvement, and 2 showed no improvement, with a total effective rate of 97.50%(78/80);The improvement of tear troughs in 80 patients after surgery was better than before surgery, with statistical differences(P<0.05);Among the 80 patients,63 cases of post operative silkworm formation occurred, with a postoperative silkworm formation rate of 78.75%(63/80);Out of 80 patients, there were 3 cases of incision redness and swelling and 1 case of infection, the incidence of complications is 5.00%(4/80).Conclusions The double-layer tile closure orbicularis muscle flap eye bag resection surgery has high application value in eye bag plastic surgery, which is conducive to improving the tear groove condition of patients, and has a high rate of postoperative silkworm formation, and is safe and feasible.
