Application of extended care based on WeChat platform in postoperative care of facial keloid scars
Objective To explore the impact of extended nursing services on the psychological state and coping styles of patients with facial keloid after surgery on the WeChat platform.Methods A total of 84 patients with facial keloids admitted to the 989th Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected and grouped according to the time of admission.The control group consisted of 42 patients who received traditional extended care from April 2022 to October 2022,while the observation group consisted of 42 patients who received extended care based on the WeChat platform from November 2022 to April 2023.Compare the psychological status,quality of life,nursing satisfaction,physical cognition,and coping strategies between two groups.Results The overall satisfaction rate of nursing care in the observation group was 97.62%(41/42),significantly higher than that in the control group 80.95%(34/42),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);At the 6-month follow-up,the scores of various anxiety scales,avoidance and surrender scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,while the scores of life status,psychological function,physical function,and social function were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Implementing extended care services through the WeChat platform to intervene in patients with facial keloid after surgery can effectively increase patients'cognition and coping ability towards facial scar body image,improve their psychological state,and enhance their quality of life and satisfaction with care.
