Clinical observation of individualized nursing based on the adopt problem solving model in oral and maxillofacial tumor surgery
Objecti ve To explore the application effect of individualized care based on ADOPT problem solving model in patients after oral and maxillofacial tumor resection. Methods A total of 98 patients with oral and maxillofacial tumors who were treated in the outpatient department of Rende Road,Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Fujian Medical University from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional nursing, and the observation group was treated with individualized nursing based on the adopt problem-solving model. The self-management efficacy, negative emotions, quality of life and the occurrence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. Results The scores of self-management efficacy scale in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);The scores of state trait anxiety questionnaire and Beck Depression Questionnaire in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);The scores of quality of life scale in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05);The incidence and total incidence of adverse events in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions For patients with oral and maxillofacial tumor resection, adopting individualized care based on ADOPT problem solving model is helpful to improve their self-management efficiency and quality of life, reduce negative emotions, and reduce the incidence of adverse events.
