Clinical study on the effect of autologous ear nail cartilage rhinoplasty combined with nasal base filling in nasal plastic surgery
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of autologous ear nail cartilage rhinoplasty combined with nasal base filling in nasal plastic surgery. Methods Eighty patients who underwent rhinoplasty at the Department of Cosmetic Surgery of Henan Plastic and Aesthetic Hospital from January 2022 to June 2024 were selected. The experimental group consisted of 40 patients who underwent autologous ear nail cavity cartilage rhinoplasty combined with nasal base filling, while the control group consisted of 40 patients who underwent autologous ear nail cavity cartilage rhinoplasty.Three months after surgery, the surgical outcomes of two groups of patients were compared based on nasal appearance measurement parameters, patient satisfaction scores, and incidence of adverse events. Results After surgery, the nasal appearance measurement parameters of the experimental group patients were better than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction evaluation of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative adverse events in the experimental group was 7.50%lower than that in the control group(20.00%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Autologous ear nail cartilage rhinoplasty combined with nasal base filling can effectively improve nasal appearance, reduce the occurrence of adverse events, and improve patient satisfaction.
