Clinical study on improving blood supply after finger replantation using autogenous vein transplantation
Objective Study the clinical effect of autologous vein transplantation on improving blood supply after finger replantation surgery. Methods Select 66 patients who underwent finger replantation surgery at the Trauma Department of Renhe Orthopedic Hospital in Xuchang from January 2021 to December 2023,and divide them into two groups of 33 patients each according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with transposition anastomosis of the same finger artery, while the observation group was treated with autologous small vein bridging transplantation. The postoperative recovery of finger function, local hemodynamics, and survival rate of finger replantation were observed in both groups, and the postoperative complications were compared. Results The postoperative observation group showed significantly higher levels of finger function and motor function(88.42±5.36 points),daily living activities(90.74±5.58 points),blood circulation status(92.36±5.42 points),and sensory recovery score(91.14±5.35 points)compared to the control group, and the total score(90.89±5.16 points)was significantly higher than that of the control group(84.16±4.26 points),with statistical significance(P<0.05).The postoperative observation group had significantly higher Vs(55.43±6.21cm/s),Vd(25.36±0.72cm/s),and Vm indicators(35.34±4.72cm/s)than the control group, while RI(0.53±0.14)was significantly lower than the control group(0.96±0.18)(P<0.05).Tracking the effect of limb replantation showed that the survival rate of the observation group(96.97%,32/33)was significantly higher than that of the control group(81.82%,27/33)(P<0.05);The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group(6.06%,2/33)was significantly lower than that in the control group(24.24%,8/33)(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of autologous small vein bridging transplantation can improve finger function, stabilize local hemodynamic indicators, and significantly increase the survival rate of finger replantation, reducing the risk of complications. This finger replantation plan has strong feasibility.
