Analysis of the effect of all ceramic high inlay and all ceramic crown restoration in the treatment of dental defects
Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of all ceramic high inlay and all ceramic crown restorations for dental defects.Methods Seventy patients with dental defects admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Science and Technology from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Among them,35 patients in the observation group were repaired with all ceramic high inlay;35 patients in the control group were treated with all ceramic crowns for restoration.Compare the periodontal related indicators of two groups of patients before and after treatment,and evaluate the dental restoration effect after treatment.Results After 3 months of treatment,the excellent and good rate of the observation group was 97.14％(34/35),which was higher than the control group's 80.0％(28/35),and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The bleeding index and gingival index of the observation group patients were lower than those of the control group before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05);The observation group had higher scores for edge suitability and appearance of the restoration compared to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusions All ceramic high inlay restoration of dental defects can effectively improve patients'periodontal symptoms,with good edge fit and shape of the restoration,and ideal restoration effect.
