The application of the Teach-back health education model in the perioperative period of patients undergoing bromhidrosis surgery
Objective To explore the application of the Teach-back health education model intervention in comprehensive nursing for patients with bromhidrosis during the perioperative period.Methods Eighty-two patients with bromhidrosis were randomly divided into two groups,with 41 patients in each group.Both groups received routine nursing care,while the experimental group also received the Teach-back health education model intervention.Observations were made over six months to assess postoperative recovery time,complication rates,patient satisfaction with nursing care,and changes in anxiety and depression levels.Results The postoperative recovery time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group,and the incidence of postoperative complications was lower than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The psychological state scores of anxiety and depression in the study group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of the Teach-back health education model in comprehensive nursing for patients with bromhidrosis during the perioperative period effectively shortens recovery time,reduces postoperative complications,alleviates anxiety and depression,and improves treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction.
