Progress of 3D soft tissue prediction in orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment
Three-dimensional soft tissue prediction plays an important role in orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment,and it is becoming a mainstream tool in the process of orthognathic surgery plan design,doctor-patient communication,and preoperative and postoperative effect evaluation.This paper aims to review the current status of three-dimensional soft tissue prediction in orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontic treatment,including the technical principles,application methods,accuracy evaluation,and current challenges,and to look forward to its future development trends.
