Clinical efficacy of doxycycline hydrochloride tablets, supramolecular salicylic acid combined with dual wavelength intense pulsed light in patients with rosacea
Objective Explore the clinical efficacy of oral doxycycline hydrochloride tablets, supramolecular salicylic acid combined with intense pulsed light in patients with rosacea. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with rosacea admitted to the Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Tai'an City from March 2023 to March 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the treatment methods, they were divided into a control group and a combined group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral doxycycline hydrochloride tablets and topical application of salicylic acid on the face, while the combined group was additionally treated with intense pulsed light on this basis. The treatment effects, improvement of skin lesion symptoms, skin barrier function and quality of life before and after treatment of the two groups of patients were observed, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment period of the two groups of patients was recorded. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The quality of life and skin lesion symptom scores of the combined group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);the skin barrier function of the combined group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);there was no statistical difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusions Oral administration of doxycycline hydrochloride tablets and supramolecular salicylic acid combined with strong pulsed light can effectively improve the skin lesion symptoms of patients with rosacea, with good safety and significant efficacy.
